Sanjay park is a colony of most of the Ex Servicemen, Govt./PMC& pvt.cos retirees, located very close to Pune Air port. While residents were growing, it was during 1997, it was decided to do JIRNODDHAR, (renovation) of the temple for worshiping and social, cultural activities. On a plot located at Survey no 230 B near Pune Airport. It was decided to start this project under a trust to regularize fund mobilization and it's utilization. Thus a trust by name
"Shri Vighneshwar Vishwasth Sanstha" was registered with Charity commissioner office Pune under Regn. No. E/2565/Pune 26/11/1997, under guidance of Shri Rambhau Moze Ex MLA , John Paul EX Corporator as advisors and a working committee of 14 members from various fields was also finalized.
Funds were collected from local residents and various donors in and around Pune. To mention few e.g. Shri Vinod Seth Mittal of Navrang Associates, has been a great all round support in this project to ensure Mandir completion in all aspects was achieved despite all odds and difficulties were experienced and got resolved, during the project work. true power of Sri Vighna harta.
Another person Mr. Jadhav "ANNA " Sarpanch Wadgaon Maval though not a resident of our society had brought Shri Ganesh Murti from Jodhpur. We could get Shri Shankarachary of Karveer peeth for pran pratistapana which was done in early hours 7 am of 29/05/1999 in attendance of about 1000 + devotees followed by mahaprashad

- To organize health camps, vaccinations, Yoga classes, laughter club, library, Tree plantation, Musical classes and other activities for Sr. Citizens and all.
- Team of youngsters -Boys and Girls organize Dhol Tasha during all festivals.
